This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, Genesis: Spiritual Guidance, designed to help users study the Bible and grow in their faith.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information to provide a secure and personalized experience:

Account Information: Users can create an account using their Google (Gmail) or Apple ID only. During authentication, we collect your name, email address, and a unique identifier provided by the login provider. There is no option to sign up using phone numbers or manual email/password.
App Usage Data: We track non-personal app usage metrics such as completed devotionals, reminders set, and saved content. This helps us personalize your experience and improve the app’s features.

Payment Information: All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or access any payment card information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

To authenticate and manage your account using your Google or Apple credentials.
To personalize your Bible study journey with content such as devotionals, prayers, and daily verses.
To send reminder notifications only (e.g., to prompt spiritual journal entries, prayer time, or scripture reading).
To administer your in-app subscription and grant access to premium features.
To analyze anonymized usage data to improve app performance and user experience.

We do not use your data for advertising purposes or sell your information to third parties.

3. No Data Sharing with Third Parties

We respect your privacy and do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to any third-party services. All data remains within the Genesis: Spiritual Guidance platform and is used exclusively for the purposes described above.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Genesis: Spiritual Guidance offers two subscription plans:

Monthly Plan: $4.17 per month
Annual Plan: $49.99 per year

Both plans include a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions are managed via your app store account and auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple or Google account settings.

5. Account Deletion

We provide an in-app feature that allows users to permanently delete their account. When you choose to delete your account, all associated data will be erased from our servers and will not be recoverable.

6. Security

We implement appropriate security measures to safeguard your information, including secure authentication methods and encrypted communications. While no system is 100% secure, we continuously work to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Genesis: Spiritual Guidance is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
